• About Russ

  I have been windsurfing off and on for the last 12 years, and continually for the last 4. I try to push my level of sailing every time I hit the water. I am originally from Lawrence, Kansas and started windsurfing there on a local lake. My desire to get more days on the water has led me on a path to windsurfing the Gorge in the summer, and wavesailing Maui's North Shore in the winters.
  
  This summer will be a bit of a change for me as I have accepted a new job at Isthmus. In previous years I worked for Windance, but Isthmus seemed to be a better fit this year. I am looking forward to another exciting windy summer in the Gorge. Look for me on the water and in Isthmus windsurf shop from May until September. See ya out there.
