Freestyle in the Gorge
I’m in Hood River, OR waiting for wind. In the last few days, I’ve been able to practice some freestyle. With the new freestyle format in the PWA (each rider only has to perform 4-5 key manouvers in each heat) I may be competitive on the world tour if I train hard enough. However, freestyle is mainly about trying a move over and over, unlike wave sailing, which is full of adrenaline.
PWA Pozo
Hey All,
I’m here in Gran Canaria competing in the PWA wave world cup. The contest is still going, and I’ve yet to be knocked out. Here are some pictures from the action. (credit: John Carter/PWA, ffotosports.com)
Also, as soon as I have a stable internet connection. I’ll start to post stories of my adventures around Europe, so tune in!
School’s Out!
Welcome to my blog! I will keep it updated with stories and pictures from my travels, PWA competitions, and anything else related to windsurfing.
I just finished my first year at Princeton University. After my last exam, I drove all night down to Hatteras, NC to go wave sailing. I’ve been here for two days, but there hasn’t been any wind. Hopefully it will pick up tomorrow. I’m excited to sail on the East Coast for the first time!
Here is the cover of the latest issue of BOARDS (the UK’s largest windsurfing magazine), which also is my latest cover:
